Erika Crable, PhD, MPH

Erika Crable, PhD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor at the University of California San Diego, with expertise in health policy, health services research, and implementation science. Her research focuses on improving the use of evidence in policy making and testing dissemination and implementation strategies to promote access to evidence-based substance use treatment for safety-net and justice-involved populations. She is PI of a NIDA-funded K01 testing dissemination strategies to improve access to medications for opioid use disorder in Medicaid benefit arrays. She is also an Investigator at the UC San Diego ACTRI Dissemination and Implementation Science Center, and a fellow in the NIMH/NIDA-funded Implementation Research Institute. Dr. Crable is contributing to the C-DIAS Policy and Finance Section’s research and goals.
